Intensity And Uniformity: An updated blend of phosphorous silicone coats the front face of the XSB 3.0 Strips and is responsible for their neutral "white when off" look and their amazing, uniform intensity - which is unlike anything else on the market. Users complained that earlier generation XSB Strips had problems with stuff "sticking" to and/or causing a lot of wrinkles in the old softer coating - but that, our friends, is now a problem of the past!
Fade-On-Function: Traditional switchback strips run the white, flash the amber, and then simply turn the white back on. That's cool and all, but what's even cooler is the fade-on-function of the new XSB 3.0 Strips! After the amber signal is turned off; their all-new LED Drivers utilize PWM to gradually ramp up the intensity of the white mode again. A small detail, but a neat one that looks awesome none the less. You can also pick up a set of the new Morimoto X-VF switchback bulbs to match - since they also have the cool new Fade-On Drivers.
Amber Only? Though they come out of the box ready to run as a switchback system, the XSB Strips can easily also be wired for use as a bright Amber-only or White-only Strip if that's what you want. Just wire up the appropriate input(s) and you're ready to roll!
Simplicity: Wiring is easy with a variant of the X Change Module integrated into the updated 3rd Gen LED drivers that power each ring. The white wire receives a constant 12V+. The black wire is grounded, and the orange wire is tapped into the turn signal circuit. Super simple!
Flexability: Built on a ribbon-based circuit board that's got a side profile of less than one millimeter thick and backed with 3M adhesive. The XSB strips are not only the most flexible LED strips on the market, but they can be mounted in tight spaces too. Finally you can forget about those bulky, unattractive silicone switchback strips for good. NOTE: These cannot flex side-to-side, only front-to-back.
